My new friend
I have a new friend - he is a spider. We have a nice relationship. Each evening he weaves a spider web on the handlebars of my bike and every morning I destroy it when I ride my bike to school. He fights against the strong wind and patiently hangs onto the handle bars for the entire duration of the ride - and once I have arrived at my destination and my bike is safely parked, my spider friend starts again on his work. He always forgives me and he is loyal despite the fact that I constantly put myself first. I love my spider.

I think you are giving this spider too many chances. Think about it; if some boy was standing at your bike every morning, followed you to school, then was waiting for you when you got back would you be so kind to him? This spider has nothing good on his mind. He's merely biding his time until you let your guard down.
I have chronicles I could write about the evils of spiders in my life. thank goodness none have tried anything truly detrimental to their health/life such as by biting me.
Didn't you ever read the story about the rattlesnake and the freshman? The spider will bite you, because "You knew what he was when you picked him up!"
